Shaun is the Director and Qualified Financial Adviser at Valour Wealth Management. He is a Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) specialist and also a member of the SMSF Association. Shaun has had a well versed career to date with roles in paraplanning, mortgage broking and a financial adviser for the last 10 years. His professional passion is to empower his clients to make the best financially strategic decisions to ensure they are best placed to reach their goals. Having worked in boutique firms has reinforced how important it is to build concrete relationships with clients, where they aren’t just another account number. Outside of the advice world you’ll find Shaun in the garden growing some serious veggies, hanging out with his wife and mini dachshund.

Paraplanner

Declan is a dedicated paraplanner who plays a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive the level of tailored advice we are known for. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, Declan takes great care in understanding each client’s unique circumstances. He is deeply committed to achieving positive outcomes, working collaboratively with advisors to ensure financial plans are well-structured and optimized for success. On a personal level Declan loves all things sports, enjoys racking up the km's running and the Melbourne restaurant scene.

Senior Administrator

Alison is a seasoned senior administrator with extensive experience in insurance and superannuation, as well as a background in stockbroking and financial advisory support. Originally from South Africa, she moved to New Zealand in 2001 and worked in various roles, including six years with an investment advisory firm managing high-net-worth clients. In 2012, Alison relocated to Australia, where she continued to work in financial services. Known for her organizational prowess and attention to detail, Alison ensures the seamless delivery of exceptional client service. She takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency in every task. Outside of work, Alison is passionate about wildlife, fostering rescued animals in her spare time. She also enjoys listening to a mix of history podcasts, and cherishing time spent with her grandchildren.
